i was lucky to be born by two people from tennesse and by 8 years old i was singin and playin guitar to folsom prison blues and was also graced to have people around me like frank sr. frank jr. dennis rogers bob duncan grant doom dave burly ron lawrence doug stubb cross john schupp rusty deckker patti gibson jim &janey lambert and many more i just had a blast learning from all these guys i fell in love with country just as soon as i heard it even tho i did stray a couple times doing alice cooper,black sabbath,uriah heap & kiss oh and mc5 i still kept my haggard &jones i found bob hock thru dennis rogers and we formed skyline along with daryl grennnel later i stumbled onto ace baade and he invited me to take jimmy hunters place with the cowboy strangers and that went good till aces wife said time toquit and then came pop clutch & the 4 speeds well i got a call from norm mcferrin to join the outlaws and i did got fired to much partying anyways i joined rod tenbrinks band and we needed a drummer so i called ron (gypsy) chambers to help us out and one practice and he wanted to meet me at the driftwood anyways we meet there and lo and behold mike woodring was there so we shot the the shit for a while and it and went back to mikes to figure out a band name so mikes wife kathy said you all were members of the band of outlaws and the name of the outlaws album was loose country so why not call yourselves loose country and the rest is history with ruth dagen ralph mink jack kittel buzz hanson and so on after that i played with my buddies deano,doug taylor,glenn williamson,tim turner,dave vandervoort,greg smith and enjoyed everyone of them then i had the misfortune of getting throat cancer i lost a vocal chord and cant sing no more so ive kinda retired but miss it everyday peace,love & bellbottoms
