Hi All and WELCOME !!!!! Make sure you all give KUDOS to Don Bob for putting up this site! GREAT JOB! As far as the songs on my page , most of them are Demos that have been done in other studios , the ones you hear that are rough are the ones I did with my own stuff. Still gets the point across though right??? Well ; I guess I don't know what to say. I (or WE ) have just lost a good friend. We drank a LOT of beer together (PABST BLUE RIBBON) ....shared a lot of jokes and pretty ......songs...LOL , Drank a fifth or 100 of Crown Royal to the others we lost....I can say I'm PROUD to have known Mike Woodring. He was a true friend . Helped me through a few hard times in my life along with Norm McFarren . There was a time I couldn't have had a better friend to confide in , just let myself go.

Daniel Paul Gilbert said… - I just received a call to let me know my very close friend Steve Maycroft has passed away. I am dearly going to miss him! I am glad I was home in Michigan a few weeks ago and stopped in to talk to him and watch him play with his band and close friend Norm. I wanted to see him achieve the recognition, that he deserved, in the country music world of great guitar players! He was one of the greats! I am so proud to have his guitar work on a few of my songs! I will cherish these songs the rest of my life! But now it has more meaning, to me, then ever. Thank you Steve Maycroft! May God bless you!
My songs that Steve played on are "Forever More","Honey I Want You", and "Country Thing". To his brother Jeff Maycroft & the rest of Steve family members and our friends, my heart felt sympathy.
I am in Nashville now and I am so sorry that I cannot be there in Michigan. But my prayers will be there.
