He got the TD-10 brain and like 10 pads. It is a huge set...probably too much, but they sound great. They cost too much, even from eBay. They do sound great though. You can plug an iPod (or whatever) line-in too and jam w/ a song. You can record with them and play them live. They are very quiet and versatile.
