Maybe it is because sometime in 1952 some chick handed me an old Gibson so to learn to play. I never did learn much but always picked Gibson. My last was an ES-335. Here's my puny story: http://www.dustymars.net/My_Music.html Jeff

Hi George! Yeah... you are a bit far away to attend the gig in Spring Lake. Ha. My dad was born in Sault Ste. Marie! I will look you up next time I'm there. :) Thanks for the comment... Take care, Kelly

hi george, its in muskegon, but i think don bob wants it inside someplace because if its outside it might rain...makes sense...it will be worth it no matter where it is...mcgraft park has a band shell and 5 to 7 acres of grass for sitting plus many places to cook steaks, burgers whatever but no booze allowed as all city parks...a special license is needed from the state liquor control comission and isnt free..1200 to 1500 dollars..i played at the t n t lounge in iron mt. in 1975...ever been there?

Howdy George..
Noticing where you come from..
My dad came from a family of 16 kids near Pullman. (Fennville) 11 boys and 5 girls.. :0
You may have got to watch a guy by the name of Burel Dailey.
He had a fairly hot country act threw the 50's and early 60's in Southwest Michigan and even down into Illinois.
A funny story of interst when I was just a toddeler..
We were visiting my dads mom and my uncle had places his National up on her bed..
While the adults were visiting I managed to work my way into her room and crawl up on the bed..
I was probebly less than two.. ;S
Of coarse I have to pluck the strings on that shiny devil.. :D
Wich brought my dad imediatly into the room , screaming for me to get away from that thing... :(
My uncle quickly piped up to my dad...
"Dont do that! He just may want to play someday.. :D
And he was very right..
Though I did watch him several times, I never did get to play with him..
But some of the most enjoyable times I have had,, is playing with his son and grandson..
It is a lesson I wont ever forget..
