DAVE BURLEY just called me to tell me his brother Stan died just hours ago. Dec 8 2002.
Dave is in Indiana and his brother Stan is here in MI.
Dave does not have many details except that his brother has been sick lately.
Please keep Dave in your prayers as he is feeling a bit helpless right now, being so far away at this moment.

Hi. Mike Furbush does'nt get on Musicians Home Much, so I'll try and answer any questions you may have. Mike and Matt Furbush are my older sister Margarett's boys. Mick Furbush is their father who passed away April of 2007. Dan is Mick's older brother, making him Mike and Matt's uncle. Mick and John Mitchell were best of friends and met while they were in the Army together. Mick always loved to tell all the humorous tails of John Mitchell.Mick had a daughter from a previous marriage that died in 2003 and a benefit was held at Pats Road House.I have photos posted of that benefit with me , Matt, Mike and John.

Hey Evelyn,

Thank you for the note, it's great to be back in contact with you. I hope you, Frank Jr. and his family and LT are all doing well.

I just got back from Steve Maycroft A Day to Remember, and all I can say is that I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love for Steve that was shown by all that attended. I got to see so many that I shared a stage with in years past, it was an emotional day to say the least. I'm so proud that even though my stint was short, I did become an Outlaw before I quit playing music. I still have the album that the original Band of Outlaws recorded in Frank's studio, and I was able to get all of the original member's to sign it a number of years ago. Something I'll treasure forever.

Hi again. Glad You appreciate what I'm able to upload so far. Wanted to add a note here about Your Bar (formerly Deano's) (formerly the Highway Bar). They have a wall of fame featuring photos of local musicians that have passed on. Janey Lambert has been supplying most of the photos so far.

So far, the wall has pictures of Henry "Frank" Rogers, Wally Kooman, Jim Lambert, Ron "Gypsy" Chambers, Doug Taylor, Louie Thompson, Grant Doom, Sam Hinton, Mike Woodring and Lyn Whipple. These are all 5X7 that surround a large painting of Dean "Deano" Masterson.

Wanted to let you know.................. Steve

Hello. Sorry for the delay in getting back with you. Wanted to add something special to my page before I did though. In regards to Franks website, I've been returning quite frequently to see if it has been updated, but , so far nothing.

I added 3 songs to my page for you that Ralph Mink, Dennis and myself recorded in Dennises basement studio in Grand Haven. I'm waiting to see the new stuff of Dennis that you mentioned will be on You Tube. Hope you like the new stuff I found...........TTYL ..........Steve

Wanted to let you know that I had a listen to the Herby Wallace stuff that you suggested. Hard to say without a stop watch, but it looked like Frank had equal or more time on "Thats All That Matters" . Great job too.

Funny how Frank and I really began to enjoy the steele guitar shows ; when as we were both starting out playing music it was all rock-n-roll ,and nothing was it's equal. Of course, in those days we were also invulnerable to ever getting old, fat, bald, etc,,,,,,,

Hi Evelyn, I only met Albert the one time for a two day gig. He seems like a really nice guy. I don't play drums much at all any more and after breaking my left femur the doctor rotated it accidently so that the knee bends at the angle of 10 o'clock to 4 o'clock instead of 12 to 6.
Makes it hard to work the hi-hat to say the least. Anyway not complaining, just stating a fact. Hope all is well. Gary & Terri
